How does payment work?
We charge $1 to unlock and 39¢ per minute (plus tax) to ride. Scooters on pause are charged 20¢ per minute.
PLEASE USE THE PAY-PER-RIDE OPTION for payment
Rides WILL NOT automatically end after a top-up total has been reached, a ride must be ended by the user in a designated parking zone, users are charged the amount of time for the ride.
Top-up is a feature intended for frequent riders who wish to pre-upload funds they plan to use in the app. If a top-up balance goes negative, the ride will change to a pay-per-ride mode and will charge the total duration of the ride.
There is a $20 minimum balance for a top-up amount. If less than $20 is uploaded to the leaf wallet, the ride will automatically start with the pay-per-ride option.
